I had the opposite experience making up that pattern because I misread the recommended fabrics and made in jersey- now it's constantly threatening to expose me.... I might still have a go with the rest of the patterns I like but take with a pinch of salt and compare with patterns that I know are well-drafted (thinking of using the By Hand London Elisalex to help out with the Shift and Summer Dress for example). I tried the woven t-shirt and the boyfriend shirt from the first book - I got stuck inside the t-shirt while trying it on and had to be rescued, and the shirt is languishing unfinished in a pile.
