I'm sad to report mine have worn a bit thin over the rear too- I shouldn't have worn them on my bike! I have a new pair made up in black stretch twill though which I'll post soon. Good luck with yours! You look great too, and it's always good to make things from your stash :)Anushkahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02083187184627852876noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5770880660837119897.post-88997595327888449182015-09-17T10:34:05.440+01:002015-09-17T10:34:05.440+01:00Hi Elinor,

Anyway, thank you for pointing out the bagging, because I had totally forgot to consider that, I was just worried about the size to choose. So, all in all, I think I am not going to make a Ginger out of it. I will go with a traditional stretch denim and use the drill in a different way. I'll let you know how it turns out. And if there will be small mistakes, well that will be ok, I'll be happy to try again :) Ciao xxxSarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05903412070178290415noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5770880660837119897.post-56477969993445118642015-09-16T14:04:59.944+01:002015-09-16T14:04:59.944+01:00Hi Sara,

I confess I just went with my standard size for this pair, which may have been a risky decision. I think perhaps the fabric is a bit more forgiving than some wovens- definitely less rigid than non-stretch denim. However, they have bagged out a little after a few wears, hopefully they'll go back to being a bit more slim-fitting after a wash. I wouldn't go with non-stretch fabrics for any future pairs, I just had this in my stash and wanted to try the construction process before buying anything especially, so it was an experiment that turned out better than it could have! What are you thinking of making your Gingers with? xxxNorseOtterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11929167900824909422noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5770880660837119897.post-10207994418423009862015-09-15T13:39:21.307+01:002015-09-15T13:39:21.307+01:00I like your cords! Thanks :)Sarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05903412070178290415noreply@blogger.com
